Privacy Policy — ThisMaxis Studio
Effective 15 September 2026
1. What ThisMaxis Studio is
ThisMaxis Studio is an internal publishing tool operated by ThisMaxis. It schedules and publishes ThisMaxis's own videos to ThisMaxis's own accounts on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. It has no third-party users: the only accounts ever connected to it belong to the operator, and nobody else can sign in.
2. Data we handle
- Identifiers of the connected accounts (account or channel IDs, display names) and the OAuth access and refresh tokens the platforms issue when the operator authorises the tool.
- The video files the operator publishes and their metadata: title, description, keywords, cover image, publishing time.
- Technical logs of publishing calls (timestamps, platform responses), used to confirm that a post went out.
We collect nothing about the viewers of the videos. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
3. How we use it
Only to upload videos, create posts and check their status on the connected accounts. The data is never sold, shared with advertisers or used for any other purpose.
4. Storage and retention
Tokens and logs are stored on a private server controlled by the operator, behind standard access controls. Tokens are kept for as long as the account authorisation is active and deleted when it is revoked, when the account is disconnected from the tool, or on request to thismaxis@gmail.com. Video files are the operator's own works and are kept at the operator's discretion.
5. Third-party services
Publishing goes through the platforms' official interfaces, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy:
- TikTok — TikTok Privacy Policy.
- YouTube — ThisMaxis Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using it the operator is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Instagram — Meta Privacy Policy.
6. This website
https://www.thismaxis.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, loads no resources from third-party servers and keeps no record of visits. Its outbound links lead to the platforms' own pages.
7. How to revoke access
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions → ThisMaxis Studio → Remove access.
- Google / YouTube: Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → ThisMaxis Studio → Delete all connections, or directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Remove.
Revoking access invalidates the stored tokens; they are deleted from our server at the next publishing attempt, or immediately on request.
8. Changes and contact
Changes to this policy are published on this page with a new effective date. Questions: thismaxis@gmail.com.
